Some thing Old, Something New -Styled Photo Shoot at Buckland House

Photography By Rosie Anderson

I just knew I had to organise a styled photo shoot at Buckland House. It is in the middle of nowhere, well in the the middle of the Devonshire countryside. I had driven past it many times and it always left me with a sense of intrigue. So when I had an idea for a shoot I wanted to do I knew it would make the perfect backdrop….(plus I’d get to look around inside!) It didn’t disappoint! It is very eccentric, very quirky and quintessentially English. Buckland House offered me the ideal setting for my shoot, that contradiction when the old meets the new with a big sense of history. I wasn’t exactly sure how it was all going to come together but using my old Mamiya C3 film camera and this is what we got!
