Devon Wedding Photography – Woolacombe Bay Hotel

Photography by Rosie Anderson

If you are getting married in Devon The Woolacombe Bay Hotel is a great place to do it! Just a stones throw away from one of Devons most renowned beaches which makes a beautiful backdrop for wedding photos!! The hotel itself is pretty cool too – it has an Art Deco thing going on and the views out to sea are pretty spectacular.
Cat and Stu took full advantage of their surroundings by crafting their wedding around them. Their wedding was small and they surrounded themselves with close friends and family. After the civil ceremony they held their reception on the lawn of the Woolacombe Bay Hotel where everyone got to breathe in the sea air and take in the views. Cat and Stu’s little daughter made just possibly the cutest flower girl I have seen this year – you can after all never have too much tulle. For the couple shots we took a stroll down to the beach and just caught a little bit of light on film. Cat and Stu are both super creative people and work on set design. Their creativity was apparent throughout the day – one of my favourite touches were the handmade paper boats used for place names. Also the miniature trees as table centre pieces were used as a stage for miniature scenes. Cat wore a Tea Dress style wedding dress – she looked totally amazing. All in  all a pretty great wedding!
